As ceramics art is becoming more popular in Hong Kong, we want to show the world some of Hong Kong local ceramists. By curating a exhibition in Sanbao Ceramics Art Institute’s annual show.
It will be the first time of Hong Kong new generation ceramicists to exhibit their work in the Jackson Li Sanbao Ceramics Art Institute museum along side with resident artists from all around the world.
We hope this exhibition ca be a valuable platform for Hong Kong ceramicists tobe an inspiration as well as be inspired. Experience the passion of ceramics making and acknowledge the daily life in the capital of porcelain.
We were taking part in the Art Of Living exhibition in Singapore, at Marina Bay Sands Singapore from the 27th-30th of October! More than 30 artists and designers around the world were showcasing their work there.
Tung Yao Ceramics Studio was holding a two-week exhibition to celebrate local blooming ceramicists by gathering them together. We believe that creating a community for local ceramicists would help establish a better future for ceramics in Hong Kong. Therefore, we had invited a number of makers to join us, to share their knowledge and passion on ceramics.
We were thrilled to be taking part in the 9th edition of Asia Contemporary Art Show 2016 (16th – 18th of September), along side with main exhibitors Artasy Limted and support exhibitor ZHEN Limited. We would be featuring a range of different artists, including the world-renowned - Takeshi Yasuda (ceramist), emerging artists such as - Lin Zi (ceramist), Aiko Yeung (painter), Charlotte Cheung (mix media artist) and Christina Peel (ceramist).
